Getting that Feywine

After a few inquiries Nastia makes her way to a wine merchant that seems popular, she approaches what she believes to be a particularly average vintage and observes it like a cat might watch a mouse it has managed to corner.

Cannon Ball!

With a great splash Rhengon leaped into the middle of the biggest pool in the bath house causing a great amount of water to be displaced along with a few of its previous occupants. After a quick swim Rhengon gets out of the main pool and goes over and reserves a more isolated steam pool. Grabbing a few pitchers of good drink settles in for a long relaxing soak. After soaking for a few hours finding alot of the tensions in his body gone Rhengon leaves the bath house. Returning to his room pulling out his equipment repairing any damage that had occured

In and out

For all that she had been through this past week or so, you might expect Nastia to take a bit of time to relax and recover before the important meeting, but instead she exits the bath after a few minutes and comments at large, "I have already had a soul cleansing today, what more can hot water accomplish.". With that she heads out to speak with the Elven populace to get an idea of how aware they are about the potential threats if Bane's plan comes to fruition and to see if she can scare up a flask of Feywine.

Bath time

The bathing rooms are impressive. Tile Mosaics of incredible scenes of beauty cover the walls. Unicorns, pegasi, the green forests of Arvandor, representations of the gods and goddesses of the elvan pantheon.

And bathing pools fed by hot springs allow bathers to sit and soak or shower away the grime. Steam fills the air and smells of delightful scents.
After acertaining where the bathing facilities are Peregrine returns to the party. (ooc: He Sheilla are the bathrooms coed or seperate here in Eladrin central). Reaching into Rhengon's bag of holding he starts to pull out a variety of dress uniforms. "Luckily these were not in my bag, or they'd reek of bilge water." After handing out clothing he carefully inspects the Swords for bruises or abrasions that might need some make-up help. "Anybody need anything special...hair cut or make-up services, speak now or forever find your own supplies."

Gwenyth

Eventually the torrential downpout gave way to a soft rain and the hurricane force winds dies to a gentle sea breeze.

It was dark and the Captain used an ancient sextant and navigation equipment to chart the course to Gweynth.

The ship sailed into the open mouth of the harbor at dawn, two days behind schedule.

In the old days when man rule Gwenyth the harbor had been a bustling place with visitors and merchant vessels and barbarians from the north. Now though the eladrin had raised rocks at a midway point in the harbor and only small craft could pass onward to the shore.

The Captain ordered small boats put into the water and the first mate assisted the crew to see the guests to a boat. Your gear in one boat and the Flying Swords in another and the Silver Sisters in a third.

As the small boats approach the old harbor you see a party awaiting you...

A fancy hello

Nastia turns as Meth approaches her spot, where she is awaiting a response from the ship's captain. She smiles at her team captain and curtseys respectfully. "Hello Captain, is there something I can do for you today?"

Meth

"To the best of my knowledge, we don't have any sailing experience. However, after these past few days that still isn't saying much, is it?"

Meth muttered the last part under her breath.

"But we can still lend an extra pair of hands, if nothing else. Find the first mate and help him in any way you can. I'll stick with the captain. Have the Swords help you as well. We aren't sailors but we can follow direction. At this point, it's probably best to keep our mouths shut and do as we are told. And help me keep an eye on the others! I'm really not in the mood to play life guard..."

Meth turned to find the ship's captain. Finding him shouting at one of the crew, Meth came up beside him.

"What else can we do to help? This isn't exactly our area of expertise, but we can follow orders."

At sea while at sea

Peregrine walks over to Meth. "Well, Captain what would you like to do? They say it's more weather, I'm not sure we can be of help here. Should we just go below, or do you think that there is something we can do?"

To swim or not to swim

When the ship finally stopped rocking and swaying Rhengon took a look over the railing to judge the seas and the distance to the nearest land. "do able, but I don't think the rest of them will make it" talking to himself. Saying out loud so those close by can hear "Ehh need more of a challenge, is this all you got!". Rhengon proceeds below deck contemplating that casket of beer he had seen. Thinking to himself "if I were to swim while lugging that casket to the nearest piece of land, now that would be challenge!" "Lets's go get a drink"grabbing the nearest person and heading twords said casket.

Flying Swords: The Eye of the Storm

Whether you would call it a hurricane or a tropical storm the wind and rain of the storm were unrelenting for hours. Anything not secured was gone. Now though the sea had quieted. The Captain was still barking orders and the looks of the crew said that worse was yet to come.

Peregrine (at last)

"So I'm supposed to wrap this rope to the left?" Pergrine asks the sailor as he tries to learn the intricate knot. The sailor muffles some laughter as he adjusts Peregrines movements. Suddenly Meth's voice can be heard over the increasing sound of wind and sea. Peregrine looks over at the sailor and raises his eyebrows. "My Captains dulcet voice" he says as he heaves himself to his feet and heads of purposely to Meth's location waving at the sailor as he went.

The Nastia Case

The moment the dark storm clouds had blocked her sunlight, Shelly went inside only half paying attention to the approaching danger.  She was staring intently at the only book she had been able to get a hold of, even though it was providing no answers to Nastia's behavior.  Shelly felt like she did not know the other Flying Swords well enough to be able to interpret what ever Nastia was trying to say, but she did know crazy.  Nastia was definitely being purposeful.

Inside, Shelly wished for a moment that Wisp would light up the room.  With a shrug, Shelly continued to stare at the book as she searched through her head for any relevant information on the Nastia case.  There were too many possibilities.  She ignored the shouts of the sailors in the storm as she grumbled to Oghma about not sharing knowledge.

A little drop of rain

Nastia places one final stitch before packing away her supplies and heading inside the ship. She returns less than a minute later wearing her standard gear and approaches the ship captain. "I've weathered my share of storms." She declares, loudly to speak over the growing wind. "Anything I can do to be of assistance?"

I hate the ocean, I swear....

Meth snarled under her breath as she glared at the building clouds. With a snap of her tail, the tiefling jumped to her feet. Casting one last glance over her shoulder at Nastia, Meth started to take inventory of her own. The dress-wearing, needle-point wonder: check. Meth turned to look over the deck in search of her team.

Perigrin!

Meth called out for her number two. She needed to know her options of things got any worse.

I wonder if Rengon can swim....

When last we saw the Flying Swords: Storm

Life aboard ship can be boring, but with the mystery that is Nastia everyone seemed far from bored. Two days after departure the crew seem aggitated by dark cloads closing in. A violent storm is coming your way.

Deck hands rush about the boat is a flurry. The Captain, a trim but muscular elf that may have a bit of sea elf in his blood is intimidating in his fury at the crew. His yells about rigging and stowing away items, and other nautical terms can be heard from all parts of the ship.

The winds are fierce and the rains are starting to attack the Corral Maiden.

What do you do?

Is this thing on?....
The gaming Blog Resurrection!

So tonight, Saturday 3/19 (Happy Birthday Mad) after I got home from figure sorting and such I remembered we used to have a gaming blog and some other stuff, so did some digging, refound it and turned in back on. Since we hadn't used it in numerous years it had been turned off. But once reopened it still had everyting on it. Nothing is ever lost on the internet... sigh.

So we can use this for the Flying Swords remote game. I will email a link to Ryan. Ryan please forward the link to Franklin and Alisa.
